As one of the series of activities of the 2024 World Brand Moganshan Conference with the theme of "Brand, Making the World a Better Place", on May 10, the first "Belt and Road" Printing and Packaging Brand Building Promotion Conference was held in Deqing County, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province.

At the meeting, Wang Lei, the director of the Xinhua News Agency Information Center, introduced the planning of the first series of "Belt and Road" printing and packaging brand building activities. The "Belt and Road" printing and packaging brand building series of activities will adopt the method of regular fixed-site conferences and exhibitions, and the fixed-site is Weinan City, Shaanxi Province, and will be held once a year. The Xinhua News Agency Information Center plans to jointly hold the first "Belt and Road" Printing and Packaging Industry Development Conference in Weinan in October this year with the CPC Weinan Municipal Committee and the Weinan Municipal Government, in cooperation with industry associations, large enterprises, colleges and universities, etc.

The conference will also simultaneously hold supporting activities such as the 2024 Weinan Printing and Packaging Industry Investment Promotion Conference and the first "Belt and Road" Printing and Packaging Industry Technology Expo. It will invite well-known experts and scholars in the printing and packaging industry, representatives of industry associations, representatives of well-known enterprises, as well as representatives of local Party committees and governments at all levels, domestic and overseas media, and global academic institutions to gather together, focusing on the topic of global printing and packaging brand building and promoting the whole-chain development of Weinan's printing and packaging innovation chain, technology chain, cooperation chain, and win-win chain.

Liu Li, the deputy mayor of Weinan City, introduced in her speech that Weinan City has promoted the development of the "Weinan" brand through a series of policies and strong guarantees. Among them, 15 industrial doubling chains have been built by focusing on characteristic industries such as new energy, fine chemicals, and industrial resource utilization. In particular, the printing and packaging industry chain mainly based on printing equipment manufacturing has been vigorously cultivated, and a printing equipment manufacturing industrial cluster mainly composed of leading enterprises such as Shaanxi Beiren and Zhencheng Technology and Weinan Kesai has been formed. In particular, Beiren Printing Machinery has led and participated in more than 10 national (industry) standards and 4 provincial local standards, creating the "Weinan brand" in the printing and packaging industry.

Brand is an important symbol of high-quality development, and brand is inseparable from new-quality productive forces. Zhang Honghe, the deputy director of the Xinhua News Agency Brand Office, said that in order to actively and proactively integrate into the "Belt and Road" construction, explore the high-quality development path of China's printing and packaging brand building, and further promote the higher level of opening up and higher quality development of Weinan, Xinhua News Agency will strive to launch more brand service products and strengthen customized and personalized information services, creative planning, brand promotion and other services to help the development and growth of Weinan enterprise brands, regional brands, and city brands.

In the keynote speech session, Professor Liu Zunzhong, a member of the Party Committee Standing Committee and vice president of Beijing Printing College, shared a series of explorations on "Constructing a Professional Talent Training System for the 'Belt and Road' to Boost the Going global of Chinese Printing and Packaging". Professor Xu Wencai, the chief expert of the Packaging and Printing Brand Cluster of the China Brand Building Promotion Association, introduced the current situation and development trend of the packaging and printing industry.

Cai Jun, the deputy secretary-general of the Weinan Municipal Government and the secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Weinan High-tech Zone, shared the brand story of the Weinan High-tech Zone chasing high-quality development and racing on the track of new-quality productive forces with three "news": new atmosphere, new development, and new opportunities. He promoted the whole-region industry and investment promotion policies of the Weinan High-tech Zone and invited printing and packaging enterprises to come to the Weinan High-tech Zone for inspection, investment, settlement and "group" advancement. The Weinan High-tech Zone will fully handle the things that solve worries in development, relieve pressure in the environment, clarify policies, and provide help to solve problems to the heart of enterprises, so that enterprises can "feel at ease to invest", "have something to invest", and "invest well" in the Weinan High-tech Zone.

At the meeting, Li Yanfeng, the secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of Shaanxi Beiren Printing Machinery Co., Ltd., and Yang Pan, the CEO of Shaanxi Gaisheng Yunyin Future Technology Co., Ltd., made promotional speeches.

In the contract-signing session, the Xinhua News Agency Information Center signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Weinan Municipal Government; Shaanxi Silk Road Printing Exhibition Culture and Technology Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement on the "Belt and Road" Printing and Packaging Industry Technology Expo with the Management Committee of the Weinan Good Life Demonstration Area; the Weinan Municipal Party Committee, the Weinan High-tech Zone, and Shaanxi Gaisheng Yunyin Future Technology Co., Ltd. jointly signed a cooperation agreement on the printing and packaging industrial park; Beijing Printing College, the Weinan High-tech Zone, and Shaanxi Gaisheng Yunyin Future Technology Co., Ltd. jointly signed a cooperation agreement on the digital printing technology innovation platform for universities, local governments and enterprises.

At the meeting, the guests jointly launched the series of activities of the first "Belt and Road" Printing and Packaging Industry Development Conference, inviting all sectors to focus on the topic of global printing and packaging brand building together with Weinan, build a new platform, share new opportunities, and win a new "Weinan" future together.
